2016 is less than 24 hours away and I just can’t believe all that has happened this year. Some good, some great and some you just wish you could wash away from your memories. Thanks to the inspiring Amy Howard, and the life lesson she taught me earlier this year, I’ve learned to edit and focus with what I want to accomplish in the new year…I’m working on intentions and not resolutions. As resolutions, as we all no tend to be broken sooner than later. None the less, New Year’s Eve parties will be happening all over the world tonight, so if you need a last minute champagne toasting recipe, then this one is for you. It’s easy and delicious and a real crowd pleaser. Cheers!
INGREDIENTS:
St-Germain or elderflower liquor
Proscecco (a brut variety)
Chambord or raspberry flavored liquor
Cranberries and Orange (to garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
In a punch bowl combine the bottle of champagne, 1 cup of the St. Germain or elderflower liquor and 1/4 cup of the Chambord or the raspberry liquor.
NOTE: So that the champagne doesn’t go flat, do not put this punch together until right before you are ready to serve it. As a tip, freeze the orange slices and the cranberries 1-2 hours before serving. Add ice if you so desire.
