Good morning loves. Oh my heavens I just can’t believe the weekend went by so quickly. It was wonderful spending time with family and friends and eating foods that I normally would feel guilty about. I’m so very excited that Christmas has finally arrived in our home. It’s my favorite holiday. The smell of fresh pine/greenery, white twinkle lights, spiked eggnog (yes spiked of course) and seeing the face of someone delighted in a special gift bought for them are just a few of the things that make me love Christmas so much. We started decorating for Christmas, not quite done yet but I’m so happy to be able to share my Christmas mantle with you today. Not only am I sharing my mantel, but at the end of this post, is a list of other talented girls across the North America, sharing their mantels in the Christmas Mantels Across America bloggers tour, I hope you enjoy all the inspiration coming your way.
The beautiful scroll, my absolute FAVORITE part, is made by Alyssa over at Cottonwood Shanty, isn’t it just perfect! It’s only $46 and comes packaged in a wonderful tube that you can store your scroll in and reuse for years to come. You can find it HERE.
The stockings I have had for years, and found them at Pottery Barn, the little burlap wrapped trees I found at Pier1 Imports last year. They had red plaid ribbon tied around them where they gathered, but I removed them this year, because I didn’t use plaid. You can see them in my Holiday Home tour from last year here. The wood figures I found last year at HomeGoods. My them this year is a Rustic Farmhouse Christmas and I think it’s coming along nicely. I hope you enjoyed this tour and stay tuned for the living room tour tomorrow…Yeah and other rooms soon!
Decorating styles can vary all over North America. Enjoy visiting these other fabulous blogs to see how they’ve decorated their Christmas mantels in the region where they live!
