Happy happy Friday and cheers to a weekend where I actually don’t have a million things scheduled to do. Christmas is near and I did pre-order some beautiful greenery today, so Christmas is coming to the blog y’all, I promise. I love a pretty lantern. I don’t know why. It’s like the little windows they have hold a secret inside or something. It’s weird but I’m always intrigued by the various shapes, colors and sizes that they come in. I don’t pick up lanterns as often as I pick up throw pillows, but I definitely love them and thought I’d share a few of my favorites including some that are even in my own home.
Lantern 1: The classic French style of this lanterns is what drew me to it. I have the large one on my mantel in the dining room so I was excited to be abel to find a pair of two to share with you all. // Lantern 2: Similar galvanized top as lantern 1 but the shape of the window sizes was very interesting to me // Lantern 3: One of my favs that I own. It’s creamy white and goes with everything. The inside is large enough to hold not only candles but seasonal decorative items. Can’t you just see some pretty pine cones in there. // Lantern 4: I love anything with chicken wire. It’s such a rustic touch. // Lantern 5: At first glance I thought “hum these have an Asian feel to them. I wouldn’t say that I”m 100% off on that but I also feel they are eclectic enough to fit into many styles of decor.
