I’ve partnered with Raymour and Flanigan and received product in exchange for this post, however ALL expressed opinions are 100% my own.
Hi loves, although it was a sunny fabulous day yesterday we aren’t so lucky in Connecticut today. Cold and rain has set in and I’m hoping it doesn’t stay around long. I’m super excited to be able to finally reveal for you our French farmhouse master bedroom I did in partnership with Raymour and Flanigan. When we moved into our new place, I knew I wanted to simplify my life even more, from business to blogging, it was a goal I was set on achieving. I have always desired to have my bedroom feel like a retreat, an escape from everyday life. Fresh, simple, cozy and elegant were words I wanted to use to describe the place I intended to call our master bedroom.
If you are a regular reader of my blog, then you would have seen how I worked with Raymour and Flanigan before using furniture and home décor from them here and here. They have beautiful pieces that truly fit any style and into any budget. When I was looking for furniture pieces, I wanted to find pieces that would work well with our custom headboard and stay in the neutral tones of white, ivory, tan and textures of wood and metal. I was pleasantly surprised to find coordinating furniture and home décor pieces that I felt were eclectic enough yet elegant enough to fit into our bedroom.
Many of you most likely saw the day I went shopping at the store on my instastory. My daughter came along and played videographer and my husband put up with me going back and forth between choices. In the end, I’m super happy with the way the bedroom came out.
We needed a dresser. We had a tall chest of drawers before but I thought a beautiful detailed dresser would fit in better here. What I love most about the Whitmore dresser is that I feel like it is the PERFECT blend of French and rustic in its style and color. Wouldn’t you agree.
Above the dressers I didn’t want to put the same standard matching mirror that would come with the dresser. I wanted a more eclectic feel to the space, so I added these two Brayden Arch mirrors right above the center of the drawers. His and hers to be exact and I really like how the gold frame of the mirror adds an elegant touch to the space.
What can I say about the elegant Somerset night stand except helloooo perfection. I loved the off white color of it (again not to be so matchy match) and I LOVED that it had so many drawers and a cute little pull out tray. Just right for having a little snack in bed on a lazy Sunday afternoon or for working on a project at night.
True story: My hubby was adamant about not getting another natural fiber rug even though I wanted one, but with the Bella Sisal rug he was like “wow this is so soft”. I was defiantly happy how soft this rug was. So many of the natural fiber rugs on the market can have a rough texture and don’t feel so good on the feet. This is absolutely a delight to wake up to every morning.
WATH THE VIDEO TOUR BELOW:
I’m not a pro filmmaker, quite frankly I’m not even a novice at it LOL, but I thought I’d try to make a video of the room so you could get a better feel of the cozy comfy haven I’ve created. I hope you enjoy.

I love how everything looks so clean and elegant. The French pieces make the room even more beautiful. I especially love the dresser and mirrors. It looks really cozy and just the place to relax after a hectic day.
Zan, thank you so very. I totally agree. The French inspired pieces make a huge difference. We do love our bedroom oh so much now! It’s our little retreat at night! XO
Beautiful, can you please give me info as to where I can find the beautiful bedding, bedspreads and pillows
Thank you!
Can you please tell me where I can find the comforter set
Hi Lindsey. The comforter is from Pine Cone Hill. I’ll be breaking down the bedding in a post later this week.
