My Romantic Fall Home Decor Part 2

Happy Saturday loves! Welcome to the newly updated home of The Rustic Life. How do you like the revamped logo and website layout? It’s been months in the making and I’m so happy the website officially debuts tonight.

First, I’d love to give a big hug and shoutout to Ashley of Pineteen (for my new logo and business cards) and Gina of Bella Creative Shop for my beautiful new and shiny website. Legit where would I be without them. This creative dynamic duo is everything. Easy to work with, so sweet and VERY responsive (I have had some bad experiences to compare them to, so trust me when I say they are the best)! They worked patiently with me to get my branding to just the way I envisioned. We have a newly expanded team of people helping The Rustic Life to be a wellrounded and beautiful home and lifestyle resource of inspiration. Interior Design services have expanded to included an affordable design consultation for all your design dilemmas as well as a new styling service for those of you who live locally to me (or not to far) in Connecticut that would like to work with me one on one to help you get your home to where you want it to be. I’m so happy to have gotten to this point where I’m ready to expand and take this brand to the next level of inspiration and service. THANK YOU all so much to those of you that have been with me through the years and continue to support me as I go along. I’d wouldn’t be here without you!

But now it’s time to share my Fall home decor that is in my living room with you all. You can see Part 1 (the dining room) in this post. I’ve continued the use soft sage green colors, soft pastels and a pop of wine burgundy into the living room. I’ll be sharing the Fall home decor in the sun room in Part 3. I didn’t want to over do the decor and instead I chose to add pops of colors and textures throughout the living room and it works so pretty with my farmhouse decor.

I looked high and low to find the right shade of green pillows. At one point I even settled for emerald green and that was NOT what I envisioned when I saw them on the sofa. They had to go and I mean the next day. I was so happy to have found these sage green pillows at one of my favorite store and they were the color I had been thinking about in my head for my Fall home decor. The mantel shelf above the sofa I figured could use a little “life” so I found these hanging greenery picks at Michaels and they worked perfectly for adding some texture to the area.

Of course, my always there wood tray on my ottoman, had to get a little Fall home decor makeover too right. I added these pumpkins and the floral picks I found at Michael’s and I think that was all that was needed to add the romantic touch to this vignette.

My favorite cozy corner got a little love with a decked out rustic crate containing vintage stairway pegs I found at a junk shop and a combination of cotton stems and birch logs in my vintage enamel bucket. I found the cutest little rosemary plant at my local WholeFoods and put it in one of my vintage terra cotta pots. I felt this was ย natural way to add color, texture and fragrance to the corner.

Over all I’m super happy with my choice for Fall home decor this year and I hope you have been inspired to think outside the box too.
