Top 3 Tips for Organizing a Beautiful Bathroom

Often times when decorating a home, well at least in my past, decorating my bathroom wasn’t really a priority compared to say the kitchen or the family room. I had the attitude where I thought “please it’s not like anyone lives in the bathroom” but today, I’ve grown up peeps. Now I feel as if the bathroom should be an extension of your homes style and should get the same love and attention as other spaces.

TIP #1: If you follow me on instagram, you will see a photo where I put bars of bath soap in a pretty apothecary jar on top of the toilet. In my family, we’ve found it to be the PERFECT solution in helping us not to yell “can you please get me a bar of soap”? You know… that moment when you realize the bar of soap in the shower is just to small to waste your time trying to form some lather. Yeah… that’s the moment I’m talking about.

TIP #2: Keep everyday supplies organized and easily accessible. Items like makeup brushes, q-tips and cotton rounds/cotton balls don’t really have to be tucked away in a cabinet.  These beautiful painted mason jars, perfect for organizing, are from Pretty Simply Home.

Tip #3: Organize your bathroom supplies like towels, lotions, and beauty supplies in items that will withstand the steam from showers over time. Metal and glass are good options. This beautiful 2 layer galvanized stand from Target is an ideal option.
