Spring Tablescape for Two

With Covid-19 deeply impacting how we are doing things these days, I thought I’d bring a little sunshine to brighten your day. It’s Easter today and it feels quite different. We aren’t able to be with family and friends this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the day in style. Just you and your boo for dinner? No problem. There are many couples around the world who have date nights in and I hope you find this tablescape inspiring for future moments together.

Flowers are a simple, inexpensive and beautiful way to create a centerpiece, no matter what the size table it’s on. This floral arrangement I designed cost me less than $25 at Whole Foods. I chose to contrast the soft color of the lambs ear with the pretty colors of the mini green hydrangeas and parrot tulips. The petals of parrot tulips are so delicate and feminine.

Add pretty details. The beautiful bistro style salt + pepper shaker set is just what this little table needed. Little touches like this are a stylish way to elevate a simple table setting such as this one.

Don’t have fancy napkin rings around? No problem. The texture and sheen of satin ribbon adds a delicate, simple and pretty touch to the table with not much effort. Want to try your hand at an easy DIY napkin ring? Check out this post.

The simple styling of this table was finished off with a table runner that adds texture and antique brass candlesticks for a bit of soft romance. This is great inspiration also for say a spring/summer bridal shower. Wishing you all a wonderful Easter holiday!
