Even though we are still smack dab in the middle of winter, I’m noticing a trend, hot off the runways that’s a bit nostalgic, a bit modern and all so girly. Polka Dots. Let’s be real, I think you could wear a piece of clothing any year with polka dots and still be “in style” but the trend is here and in full swing already. Popping up in stores and all over Instagram.
Polka dots are fun and flirty so don’t be afraid to play with these little dots. I put a whimsical spin on this look by mixing small polka dots with bigger ones and pulling the look together with a beret and darling vintage inspired shoes. All that’s missing is a cute polka dot umbrella. Don’t be afraid to go bold, so even consider mixing the dots with stripes or plaid. Oh the possibilities.
