HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR SKIN IN THE WINTER

In the coming months cooler weather means drier skin and drier skin means dull looking skin. Fall is the perfect time to rejuvenate your skin on a consistent basis. Getting a professional peel or microdermabrasion isn’t always an option for people.
The next best thing to doing a professional skin treatment is to take care of your skin at home with clinical grade products that help to reveal brighter, softer and more refined skin tone and texture. When I owned my skin spa + acne clinic, I always told my clients, it wasn’t just what I did for an hour to their skin during a treatment, the key to healthier skin is what is done at home, by you, 90% of the time.
Kate Somerville products have been in my arsenal of anti-aging beauty products for many years now. To be honest, she was quite inspiring to me in my career as a Medical Esthetician. I actually talked about the ExfoliKate Cleanser a few years back in this post. Kate Somerville makes products I love because simply put…they deliver results.
I’ve used the ExfoliKate for years now to maintain my skin in between microdermabrasion treatments. It’s one of those must-have, cult-like products that I recommend highly because in just two minutes your skin is deeply exfoliated and feels like you just had a rejuvenating spa facial. The enzymes (Papaya, Pineapple, and Pumpkin Enzymes) work deeply to slough off dead skin while Aloe Vera, Honey, and Vitamin E help to soothe, smooth and soften the skin.
Seriously loves, if you haven’t tried Kate Somerville and you are obsessed with aging gracefully like me, then do yourself and your skin a favor and give these beauty favs of mine a try. Once you do, you will wonder how you ever lived without them!

P.S. ExfoliKate is pretty intense and tingles so don’t feel bad if you have to work your way up to leaving it on for the full two minutes. Also, if you flush/turn pink a little, no worries … it goes away. A small sacrifice for glowing skin wouldn’t you say.
